ART TORONTO 2015 and 2014

Founded in 2000, Art Toronto is Canada’s international Modern and Contemporary Art Fair, located at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in the city’s downtown core. Art Toronto features more than 100 art galleries from Toronto and Canada, and from cities around the world, including New York, Los Angeles, and Tel Aviv,  with a roster of lectures, panel discussions, and presentations. Providing unique access to the Canadian art market, the fair is one of the most important annual art events in Canada.

Gurevich Fine Art, a Winnipeg-based Canadian gallery, exhibited a selection of Freeman’s paintings in 2015 and 2014: Demoiselles, Search, Scent, Surf, Sleep, Once Were Warriors. In 2015 art historian / writer, Holly Mazar-Fox, (BA, Yale University, MA, Courtauld Institute of Art),  focussed on Demoiselles, Once Were Warriors, and I’d like rather give up a kidney than my laptop, during Art Toronto talks and tours.
